Northwest Professional Educators, Association of American Educators' state partner for Washington, Oregon and Idaho, awarded a classroom mini-grant to Kathy Muscat, guidance counselor at Jerome High School in Jerome, Idaho. The $300 award will fund ACT test preparation guides for the school's ACT test prep course.

NWPE awards teacher scholarships and classroom mini-grants twice a year. All educators in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho are eligible for the awards although NWPE members receive first preference.
