With the rise of social networking and personal blogs, sharing teacher tips and tricks can be easier than ever. With just a quick search, educators can connect with tech-savvy bloggers from across the country to read, share, and collaborate on new and exciting curriculum ideas. Whether you teach elementary school art, high school math, or anything in between–there is a blog that caters to YOU! Check out some of AAE's favorite teacher blogs:

The Teacher Wife: This personal blog was started by a second grade teacher in Utah named Lindsey. Relatively new to the classroom, Lindsey shares her experiences and classroom ideas with a broad audience from coast to coast. One of her most viral blogs is called the "100 Book Challenge," a lesson plan that challenges students to read while creating an art project keepsake. Click here to read about the project and download the resources.

Life in Special Education: This blog is a must-read resource for teachers involved in special education instruction. Inspirational stories and practical tips are posted daily. Don't forget to check often for new opportunities to win classroom grants and discounts specifically for special education teachers.

Teaching Tweens: This teacher blogger shares insight on working with students aged 10-12 in the middle school environment. Rated a Top-10 education blog by Teaching Blog Addict, "Teaching Tweens" caters to the unique needs of middle schools students through pop culture, technology, and communication. One of the latest ideas involves creating a diorama that depicts a scene from The Hunger Games. In addition to the diorama, students were assigned a paper on the popular novel's literary themes.

Cool Cat Teacher Blog: This popular blog focuses on teaching students with new tools, enthusiasm, and "the belief that teaching is a noble calling." Written and compiled by a veteran Georgia educator, the blog shares resources appropriate for teaching all subjects and grades. Posts are organized by popularity for easy surfing.

TEACHFOR.US: This blog is great for reading about what it's really like in the classroom from real-life teachers. "Teach For Us" is the network connecting Teach For America corps members and alumni who share their stories from the trenches. Member teachers share the ins and outs of the TFA program, including their experiences in intense training sessions and inspiring stories from some of the nation's most high-need schools.
