Association of American Educators Celebrates National School Choice Week 2016 The events vary from small and intimate gatherings of AAE members and local leaders, to large meetings welcoming educators, legislators, and community members from across the state. AAE members are also hosting hundreds of independent events in schools across America. "The Association of American Educators and our state chapters are proud to celebrate National School Choice Week," said AAE Chairman and President Gary Beckner. "By shining a spotlight on options for teachers including public charter, virtual, and independent schools, we've been able to inform the public and engage teachers in a discussion about the benefits of school choice for not only students– but classroom educators."
