AAE Recognizes National Charter Schools Week


Alexandria, VA– It’s National Charter Schools Week (May 5-11, 2013) and around the country thousands of stakeholders are recognizing this growing movement of innovative schools for the impact they are having on students and teachers nearly nationwide.

In honor of this important week, Association of American Educators Executive Director Gary Beckner released the following statement:

"AAE continues to be awed by the strides the public charter school community make in communities across America. This week, we officially recognize the growing charter school movement and the constant efforts of those involved with these excellent schools. AAE joins with parents and students in thanking these teachers and administrators who makes these life-changing institutions possible.”
