Meet AAE-Utah's Membership Director Carolee Baird Regional Membership Director Carolee Baird serves as regional membership director for the Association of American Educators in Utah. A veteran educator, Carolee has been a proud AAE professional member for five years. Prior to her work in education, Carolee served as a department head and training coordinator for a major home improvement corporation. As part of her position, Carolee trained new and existing associates in sales, profitability, benefits, and company ethics. It is in those roles that Carolee decided to pursue teaching as a career. Carolee completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Weber State University where she majored in social studies education. Immediately upon graduation she joined Utah Virtual Academy, a virtual public charter school serving students across the state. Carolee is a passionate advocate for educators, public charter schools, and virtual education in Utah. Carolee and husband, Bart, have two children and reside in northern Utah where they enjoy a number of outdoor activities as a family. Carolee’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Wilson who exuded professionalism and worked tirelessly to make reading a fun and engaging activity.
