Tony Bonuccelli

Director of School Leadership

Tony Bonuccelli is an education leader with more than 23 years of experience serving students, educators, and school communities in Idaho and Washington. His career includes 10 years as a music director followed by 13 years as Charter Administrator at Moscow Charter School, where he led school growth, expanded educational programs, and fostered a culture of collaboration and student success. Passionate about education, Tony is committed to helping educators succeed so they can continue making a positive impact in the lives of students.

Tony has been a member of the Northwest Professional Educators (NWPE)/American Association of Educators (AAE) for 21 years and now serves as Director of School Leadership with AAE/NWPE. In this role, he partners with educators and school leaders throughout the nation, providing legal resources, professional support, leadership development, and advocacy for the education profession.

One of the greatest influences on Tony’s career was his high school music teacher, Keith Nielsen. Keith's passion for music inspired Tony to become an educator and taught him the lasting impact a dedicated teacher can have. Years later as a college student, Tony returned to assist Keith as a drumline instructor. One of Tony’s favorite memories from that time was a friendly drum-off against his mentor in front of more than 2,000 students, a moment he will never forget.
