Having a few weeks off in the summer is one of the perks of teaching and it’s understandable to want to spend your time by sightseeing and vacationing. However, many favorite summertime destinations can be expensive and cause a money crunch. Fortunately, there are locations nationwide offering discounts to vacationing teachers this summer. Here are just a few where you can get the most bang for your buck:

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Lines: Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line is offering a free all-inclusive beach getaway for two when you book a 2-night cruise.

Caesars Hotels: Caesars’ locations offer an additional 10% off hotel rooms.

Disney: Disney Springs hotels are offering special rates for teachers and school support staff that visit the Magic Kingdom during the summer.

Kennedy Space Center: The Kennedy Space Center offers special “Educator Study Passes” for teachers from Florida and Georgia who visit the facility.

MSC Cruises: MSC offers a 10% discount for teachers who book one of their cruises.

Seaworld: Seaworld Parks offer special passes for teachers at discounted rates.

STA Travel: STA Travel provides educators with special cards that offer travel insurance, discounts on flights, and additional discounts in countries worldwide.

All of these discounts help make vacationing more accessible to teachers, but don’t forget that AAE members get additional discounts through our Abenity Discount Program! As an AAE member, make sure you check out our discount site to save even more money! New discounts are added all the time.
