Resources for Facing Trauma
posted by: Tamia | January 08, 2021, 05:50 PM

The events leading up to the unsettling violence at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, and the continuing developments are truly history in the making. Our students are witnessing what is and is not working well in our nation. Educators are having discussions with their students in all grades about what happened and what might happen next. To assist in having those discussions, answering questions, and reassuring students, we have assembled some articles, teaching tools, and diverse perspectives so that you may better serve your students.

We hope these resources will assist educators in the classroom and beyond.

We will continue to post new content and discussion tools as they become available.
