      Available Awards
      The number of teacher scholarships awarded will depend on the total number of applicants. Teacher scholarships are available for up to $500.

      Teacher Scholarship Funding Options
      Tuition, books, conference or workshop registration fees, or travel expenses to professional development activities.

      Eligibility
      Teacher scholarships are available to all educators in Kansas       who have not received a scholarship or grant from KANAAE in the previous three years. Awards are competitive. KANAAE members receive additional weight in the scoring rubric. Join KANAAE today.

      1) One of the following:

      a) Describe the professional development workshop/conference that you will attend.  Include a copy of the conference agenda.

      b) Describe the course or program in which you are enrolled. Include a program description or class syllabus.

      Details on Disbursement of Teacher Scholarships
      Teachers awarded scholarships will be reimbursed for up to $500 in approved expenses documented no more than one year after notification of the award. KANAAE can also remit the award directly to the school district.  Scholarship recipients understand and accept that their names and photos may be used in the KANAAE newsletter or websites and may be released in newspapers.
