AAE Member Portal Instructions


Our AAE Member Portal is a convenient way to renew your membership, update your profile, check your membership status, access member benefits, and much more.

Please use the instructions and videos below to help you navigate the portal. The AAE team is also available to help you find your way around. Contact us via our web contact form or call 1-800-704-7799.

If you are not yet a member of AAE and would like to JOIN, click here to join now.

If you are a current member and would like to RENEW, click here to visit the AAE Member Portal and login to your account using the email address on your AAE, ASTA, KANAAE, NWPE, or PACE account.

PLEASE NOTE: *If you are renewing via a smartphone or tablet*, you will need to click the Renew Membership link and open a new page in order to open the renewal process.


If you are a previous member ready to REJOIN, click here to visit the AAE Member Portal and login to your account using the email address on your AAE, ASTA, KANAAE, NWPE, or PACE account. You can use the "forgot my password" feature to restore access to your account.

How To: Login

  1. Visit the AAE Member Portal login screen at www.myaae.org/s/login
  2. Enter your username and password
    • Your username is the email address on file with AAE
    • If you need to reset your password, there is a link to do so on this page

Once you have signed in you can view your profile, edit profile information, renew your membership, and check your membership status.


How To: Reset Your Password

  1. Visit the AAE Member Portal login screen at www.myaae.org/s/login
  2. Click “Forgot Password” under the login button
  3. Enter your username in the box
    • Your username is the email address on file with AAE
  4. Once submitted, you will receive an email from AAE Member Portal with a link to reset your password

How To: View and Update Your Profile

  1. Login to the AAE Member Portal at www.myaae.org/s/login
    • Your profile will appear once you are logged in
  2. Click the pencil icon to add a profile picture
  3. Click the “Change” button to update information in each section of your profile. Remember to click the save button at the bottom of the section to save your changes

As you navigate around the portal, you can always return to your profile by clicking on the person icon in the top right corner of the screen.

How To: Check Membership Status

  1. From your profile, click on Membership from the menu on the left-hand side.
  2. This will display your current membership, a paid through date, your status (Active or Expired) and your Auto-Renew selection.

Current Student, Associate, Retired, and Professional Annual Members:

You may renew your annual membership up to 90 days before the end of your one year of membership.

  1. Login to the AAE Member Portal at www.myaae.org/login
  2. Click on 'Membership' from the menu on the left-hand side.
  3. A “Renew Membership” link will appear underneath the membership status. Click the link and follow prompts to renew your membership.
    • If you are renewing on your mobile device, you will need to click the Renew Membership link and open a new page in order to open the renewal process.

Please Note: If you have had multiple memberships with AAE (student, professional, etc), they will all display here. Please review carefully and select your current, active membership to renew.

The following member types do not need to renew membership annually via the AAE Member Portal:

  • Professional Member paying monthly via credit card or check (auto-renewal)
  • Professional Member paying via payroll deduction (auto-renewal)
  • Professional Member whose receives membership as an employment benefit

If you are looking to change your membership, for example upgrading from Student to Professional or switching from Professional to Retired, please contact our Member Services team at 1-800-704-7799.

How To: Rejoin/Restore Membership

You are able to renew your membership up to 5 years after it has expired. Your membership will reflect the new start date of the day you rejoin.


Expired Members:

  1. Login to the AAE Member Portal at www.myaae.org/s/login
    • See instructions on logging in or resetting your password above
  2. Click on 'Membership' from the menu on the left-hand side.
  3. If your expired membership is eligible to be restored, a “Renew Membership” link will appear underneath the membership status. Click the link and follow prompts to rejoin with the same membership type.

Please Note: If you have had multiple memberships with AAE (student, professional, etc), they will all display here. Please review carefully and select your current, active membership to renew.

How To: Update Payment Method

You can update your payment information using AAE’s secure update form in the menu on the left-hand side of the portal. If you prefer to provide payment information over the phone, please contact our Member Services team at 1-800-704-7799.



How To: Request Insurance Certificate

If you need a copy of your insurance information, please request your certificate here and we will provide you with a pdf certificate within two business days. This link is also available in the menu on the left-hand side of the portal.



How To: Suspend Membership

If you need to change your membership status to reflect retirement, sabbatical, unemployment, or other need for cancellation, please login to the AAE Member Portal and you will find "Suspend/Change Membership" on the left-hand menu. If you prefer to contact our Member Services team, please call 1-800-704-7799.
