Mission Viejo, CA – The Association of American Educators (AAE), a national, nonunion, professional association serving educators in all fifty states, today distributed a new video saluting the heroic efforts of educators across the nation as they continue to serve their students through distance learning and countless acts of encouragement, motivation, and creative problem solving during months of pandemic-related school closures. This inspiring video is also an opportunity to shine a light on educators’ ingenuity, resiliency, and their relentless drive to do what is best for their students.

Association of American Educators Executive Director Colin Sharkey released the following statement:

“This special video is a thank you to all educators who continue to touch the lives of their students from a distance in this unprecedented crisis. The bond that is formed between teachers and students is strong and unique and is often the motivator for students to one day become educators themselves. The pandemic has changed the way education is delivered now and may affect the way school looks for years to come, but the passion our educators have for teaching and creating curious lifelong learners is as strong as ever.”
