Julie Evans

Assistant Director of Legal Services

Julie Evans serves as the Assistant Director of Legal Services for the Association of American Educators. In this role she oversees all communications between AAE members and the Legal Services Team. She plays a key role in ensuring that members receive timely, accurate, and supportive guidance, fostering strong relationships and clear communication throughout the legal support process.

Before joining AAE, Julie worked for the Saddleback Valley Unified School District as part of the management team for the before and after school care program. In that role, she witnessed firsthand not only the hard work and dedication of teachers, administrators, and school staff, but also the many challenges they face — an experience that deepened her appreciation for the profession and highlighted the importance of strong support systems for educators. While she has always enjoyed working with students, she finds deep fulfillment in supporting educators and helping them navigate their profession with confidence and clarity.

A native Californian, Julie enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and hiking with her dog, Maggie.

Julie’s favorite educator is Mrs. Relf, who took a genuine interest in each of her students and was always willing to go the extra mile to see her students succeed.
