More than a decade ago, a group of nationally recognized educators (AAE Advisory Board) came together with a vision to create a new kind of teacher association – one that focused on professionalism and putting children first.

AAE is America's fastest growing national, nonprofit, nonunion teachers' association with members in all 50 states.

Association of American Educators is incorporated as a 501(c) (6), non-profit, professional association. Professional membership in AAE is open to any employee of an educational entity.
