Congratulations Fall 2014 Scholarship & Grant Winners!

The Association of American Educators Foundation (AAEF) would like to extend our congratulations to the winners of the Fall 2014 AAE Foundation National Teacher Scholarships and Grants Program!

 

AAEF applauds the innovation and commitment that these educators have shown to their students and to the teaching profession. We were proud to provide funds for the following initiatives:

Sally Baldridge from York, NE will purchase nonfiction texts for her 8th grade language arts classroom.
David Black from Provo, UT will purchase materials to combine science and art in his classes.
Dina Casabinca from Palm Bay, FL will help her special education students attend Zoo School.
Jenny Dawman from West Jordan, UT will send ten of her students to the Teen Author Boot Camp at Utah Valley University.
Coquesa Dotson from Grove Hill, AL will purchase a computer for her middle school English classroom.
Jenna Ellis from West Jordan, UT will purchase a subscription to www.noredink.com for her schools continuing efforts to provide data-driven instruction.
Jennifer Finan from Eatontown, NJ will purchase leveled texts for her special education classroom.
Bradley Jensen from Hinkley, MN will fund his mentorship/coaching program provided by Edvisions.
Ryan Johnson from Faribault, MN will purchase technology to help maximize the iPad program in his school.
Robert Kempton from Orem, UT will be purchasing an iPad that his students can use while working with his classroom aide.
Nenci Kokic from Brooklyn, NY will purchase two Wacom Intuos Pro Pen & Touch Medium tablets to enhance her middle school students use of technology in the design process.
Mark Trice from Frederick, MD will buy materials to teach modeling in science to his high school science students.
Alisha Williams from Moreauville, LA will purchase GPS tracking devices to use in her geocaching lesson.
Jeanne Woerner from Penns Grove, NJ will be purchasing materials to allow her students to create their own hard-covered books.
Judy Wright from Canton, GA will purchase a Vernier Lego NXT Environmental Science Package to use with her aquaponics lab,

Congratulations, teachers! Thanks to all who applied but were not selected to receive a scholarship or grant in this spring competition. The AAE Foundation National Teacher Scholarships and Grants Program is held twice a year in the fall and spring. Please consider applying for the next round of scholarships and grants. The deadline for the upcoming fall competition is March 1, 2015.
