      Available Award
      The winning nominee will be able to reimburse up to $250 worth of classroom supplies. The award will be provided on a reimbursement basis.

      The awardee will also be recognized with a short ceremony, acknowledgement in their local news with a press release, and one year's worth of free AAE professional membership.


      Eligibility

      The Student Teacher of the Year award is open to any current college or university student who has conducted their student teaching during the current academic year.

      The nominee must be embarking on a new career in education and planning to enter the classroom. The award is not available to existing classroom educators seeking an advanced degree.
