Did you know that April is Financial Literacy Month?  That makes this month the perfect time to incorporate lessons about finances and budgets into your class. Here are some resources to help! 

• Edutopia has a great list of lessons to use to teach financial literacy for all ages.
• Oklahoma is one of the few states with financial literacy standards and provides lessons and resources that go along with those standards.
• The US Mint also provides activities and lessons.
• Consumer Jungle is a website that teaches high school students about financial literacy skills.
• The Center for Student Credit Card Education has resources aimed at students to help them learn about using credit wisely.
• The FDIC provides lessons aimed at middle school and high school students.
• BizKids is a fun interactive site aimed at elementary students.
• Lemonade Stand is the classic game about running a business.
• The National Endowment for Financial Education has resources and lessons for high school students.
• EconEdLink maintains a database of economics lessons for all grades.
• The Council for Economic Education has Finance lessons that are aligned with the Common Core State Standards.
